Create Bent Panel

Creates a Bent Panel (BPANEL) element which can be used to represent any sheet material used to clad a structural model. For example, a bent panel can be used for roofing on a structural model.

On the Plates tab, in the Create group, click Bent Panel.
You are prompted to First point or
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the first point position.
You are then prompted to Next point or
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the next position.
You are then prompted to Next point or
The prompt is repeated, allowing you to create multiple points which can be created to change the direction within the plane.
Input F at the prompt and press Enter to end the command. A bent panel is created and displays in the 3D view.
Throughout the bent panel creation process you can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

Width |
Press the down arrow key and select Width to define the width of the bent panel. You are prompted to Width <#> Input a dimensional value in the field and press Enter to set the width of the bent panel. |

Thickness |
Press the down arrow key and select Thickness to define the thickness of the bent panel. You are prompted to Thickness <#> Input a dimensional value in the field and press Enter to set the thickness of the bent panel. |

Justification Line |
Press the down arrow key and select Justification Line to define the justification position of the bent panel. You are prompted to Select justification <#> Input a justification value in the field and press Enter or press the down arrow key and select a justification value. |

Left |
Press the down arrow key and select Left to create a bent panel with left justification. |
|
Right |
Press the down arrow key and select Right to create a bent panel with right justification. |

Center |
Press the down arrow key and select Center to create a bent panel with center justification. |

Back |
Press the down arrow key and select Back to undo the last action. |

Radius |
Press the down arrow key and select Radius to define the radii of the bent panel. You are prompted to Curve radius <#> Input a dimensional value in the field and press Enter to set the radii of the panel. |

Finish |
Press the down arrow key and select Finish to end the command. |

The new BPANEL element displays in the Model Explorer.
