Piping Component Files (PCF) can be used to exchange piping data between different software applications. The PCF Export functionality is available from the Export group on the Interfaces tab.
PCF Export
The PCF Export window consists of three tabs and three primary buttons.

Export tab |

The Export tab provides basic settings, file export and a storage location selection. |

Components tab |
|
The Components tab what PCF object is created when a PIPE element matches the mapping table rules. |
|
Attributes tab |
|
The Attributes tab provides a tabulated structured to define PCF to PIPE element mapping. |
Load Settings
Loads PCF Exporter settings, components and attribute table data from the .xpe files.
Save Settings
Save current PCF Exporter settings, components and attribute table data to the .xpe file.
Export PCF
Exports the PIPE element(s) as an external PCF (.xpe) file.
Note:
The Load Settings, Save Settings and Export PCF buttons are displayed on the PCF window irrelevant of the tab selected.
