Process a differential pressure analog input

The calculations detailed in this section apply only where a differential pressure reading is polled from an analog record (that is, there is no configured rate, and a differential pressure analog is configured). All orifice meter fields must be configured. For more information, see Configure the Orifice tab on the Accumulator record.

Note: Whenever an error occurs in calculating volume or mass, such as from the temperature or pressure readings being out of range, all calculations for the accumulator will be halted (the flow rate will be 0 and no counters will be incremented), a persistent alarm will be generated indicating the calculations for volume and mass failed, and the detailed failure reason will appear in the oasErrLog. For more information, see Understand Virtual Flow Computer alarms and events.

The Virtual Flow Computer (VFC) processor will perform the calculations described in the following sections.
