To access the Pending Ticket Control dialog for a record

  • Select the row header for the record on the Pending Schedule window.

The Pending Ticket Control dialog appears. With the exception of the action items, all of the fields in the Pending Ticket Control dialog behave in the same way as the fields in the Pending Ticket Insert.

The following table details the items on the Pending Ticket Control dialog.

Field

Description

Sched. GSV

The units displayed are defined in the unit profile.

Submit Changes

Select Submit Changes to save your changes. Depending on your configuration, if you are submitting the changes associated with a remote ticketing batch transfer, a download to a remote device will be attempted after the ticket is inserted. If the remote ticket device is inhibited, however, no download will be attempted. The message will ask for download confirmation before saving the changes.

Insert

This function is greyed out as it is not used for the Edit operation.

Delete

Select Delete to delete the pending ticket. When deleting the pending ticket, if the pending ticket is associated with a remote ticketing batch transfer a download to a remote device will be attempted after deleting the ticket, as long as the batch transfer itself has not been inhibited. A message will ask for download confirmation before deleting the ticket.

Clone

Select Clone to clone the pending ticket, which copies the pending ticket’s information into a new pending ticket in the Pending Schedule. A message will ask for confirmation before creating a clone. For more information, see Clone a Pending ticket.

Swap

Select Swap to swap the pending ticket with the currently active ticket. A message will ask for confirmation before initiating the swap. For more information, see Understand swapped tickets.

Dismiss

Selecting Dismiss can have one of two functions:

  • Allows you to abandon all edits you have done in the Pending Ticket Control dialog. The dialog closes immediately and none of the changes are saved.

  • If you have already saved your changes by selecting Submit Changes, the Dismiss button closes the window.

View Revisions

Select View Revisions to open the Pending Schedule – All Revisions window. For more information about the Pending Schedule – All Revisions window, see View the revision history for the pending schedule using the Pending Schedule – All Revisions window.
