AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids

Property values of consecutive alarms

In the case that the property values of consecutive batches are too close together, the application generates an alarm to inform the Controller of this condition. You will have the following options:

  • A threshold is still calculated. You can leave this as is.

  • You can type a different value for the next batch. This is done in the Next API field of the Interface Detect Control window (see Access the Interface Detect Control dialog). This value will then be used when calculating the threshold.

  • You can disable detection while the interface passes. This is done in the Monitoring Inhibited field of the Interface Detect Control window (see Access the Interface Detect Control dialog).
