Work with Countdown alarms and events

Countdown can create five different alarms and events. By default, these alarms and events are associated with the Countdown record; however, the Administrator can also modify the configuration to associate these alarms and events with the source point being monitored (tank, virtualflowcomputer, batchXfer, and rate).
Each alarm and event can be individually inhibited by an Administrator. The Administrator can also configure the severity of the alarms and events. For more information, refer to the AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids Administrator documentation.
The following table lists the category that Countdown alarms are generated under and the format of the message of alarm.
