Configure the Level to Volume conversion for custom plugins

If you need to calculate levels to volumes and a strapping table does not satisfy your requirements, you can define your own Level to Volume formula via a plugin. For more information on custom plugins, refer to the Pipeline Operations for Liquids Developer Guide documentation.

To configure the Strapping table for custom plugins

  1. Open the tank record. For more information on opening a tank record, see Open the Tank record.

    The tank Row Edit dialog appears.

  2. Select the Level to Volume tab to reveal the Level to Volume Conversion Method dropdown list.

  3. From the Level to Volume Conversion Method dropdown list, select the name assigned to the plugin displayed. In the example above, Use Custom Volume Formula is selected.
