To configure the batch transfer to work in conjunction with Telemetered Flow Computer
-
Create a Telemetered Flow Computer (fcConfigTelemetered) record.
-
After creating the Telemetered Flow Computer record, open an existing batch transfer (batchXfer) record or create a new batchXfer record.
-
On the Remote Ticketing tab of the batchXfer Row Edit window, select the Remote Ticket Control and set the Batch Schedule Management to Host.
-
Create a Batch Transfer Source (batchXferSource). For more information about Batch Transfer Source configuration, see Create the information source for the Batch Transfer (BatchXfer) record.
When used in conjunction with a Flow Computer, the batch transfer must have one uninhibited source. If your batch transfer has another source in addition to the one you are creating, processing will be unsuccessful. Additionally, if the source has not been configured, processing will be unsuccessful, too.
-
There are a few fields that must be configured in a specific way in order to successfully use a Flow Computer as a source of information:
-
On the Main tab of the batchXferSource Row Edit window, the Source Type must be set to Flow Computer.
-
Setting the Source Path requires a few more additional steps:
-
The Table will be set to FlowComputerRunTimeData.
To read more about flowComputerRunTimeData entries, see View the FlowComputerRunTimeData entries.
-
For the Record, select the desired Telemetered Flow Computer record.
-
Click Accept.
