Understand flow rate

The Average Flow Rate field on the Tank Configuration tab defines the period over which the tank flow rate is calculated.
On the Alarm Limits tab, if the Enable ROC Alarming checkbox is selected, a limit to the flow rate is set in the Filling and/or Emptying Rate of Change (ROC) Limit (Unit/Hr) fields. An ROC Alarm state will be raised when Filling or Emptying ROC limits are exceeded.
