Information about the quality of the data of your Advanced Logic Processor (alpConfig) record can be gathered from the data quality icons used within the easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS) application. Given that the Advanced Logic Processor can have more than one input, the data quality that is displayed is the most serious data condition reflected by the input devices.
Data qualities used in conjunction with the Advanced Logic Processor are shown below, in order of their seriousness. Error is the most serious and Fresh indicates that the point(s) is/are successfully collecting data.
-
Error — This is the most serious data quality, and it indicates that there is either an issue with the instrument used to gather telemetered information, or a calculation error.
-
Manual — If the point's normal data source has been manually overridden, the data quality will be set to Manual, regardless of the other data quality information that is being reported. For more information about manually overriding your alpConfig record, see Understand the Advanced Logic Processor Control window.
-
Stale — If the point has stopped receiving data, the data quality condition will be set to Stale. The information displayed will reflect the time the point was successfully polled.
-
Offscan — If the point has been removed from the normal polling process, and is not receiving current data, the data quality will be set to Offscan.
-
Fresh — If the point is successfully gathering data, the data quality will be recorded as fresh.
