Understand the History tab

The History tab provides a record of all of the changes made to a particular tank, recording each Effective Date, as well as the times when the tank entries were modified. Each modification, along with the dates and times, is recorded for auditing purposes.

To view modifications using the History tab

1. From the Level to Volume tab of the tank Row Edit dialog, select Edit Strapping Tables.

   The View Strapping Tables dialog appears.

2. Do one of the following:

   • Select Create.

   • From the list of available records, double-click the row header of the desired Tank Strapping Table.

     The Tank Strapping Table dialog appears.

     

3. Select the History tab.

   The History tab appears.

   

4. Select and expand the Effective Date you would like to view.

   A list of the changes that were made during that effective date, along with the time the changes were made appears.

5. Double-click one of the modification dates to bring up a historically accurate version of the Tank Strapping Table dialog.

   Note: Historical tables are read-only.
