If an external process can detect a Drag Reducing Agent (DRA) violation, it can signal this condition using a status or multistate point, and the DRA Injector application can be configured to recognize this. For more information, see Configure the Drag Reducing Agent Injector (DRAInjector) Record.
If a state in the assigned status or multistate point exists that indicates a violation, a violation condition exists.
An example of this is an external batch tracker. In the following diagram, the prohibited product, jet fuel, has entered the upstream buffer zone. In this case, a prohibited product condition exists.

The batch tracker will set the assigned status point to the Violation state.
Note: Batch Tracking has not been programmed to use DRA injection information and issue violations and cannot be used for this purpose.
