To accept the meter prove ticket
-
After the proving has completed or been aborted, you will need to check to ensure that you have the expected number of good, consecutive runs. If you do not, start the proving process over again.
-
Examine the information provided in the Valid Temperature, Valid Pressure, and Valid Density fields. Check to see that all three are valid.
-
If the data seems reasonable, select Accept to accept the prover ticket. The run data average is calculated and used for calculating the Meter Correction Factor (MCF).
To accept a meter prove ticket after receiving a warning message
After you select Accept in the Prover Control window to accept a prove, the system automatically checks the deadbands of the previous curve against the prove’s MCF and Flow Rate. If the prove’s flow curving checks fail to meet certain acceptance criteria, a warning message will appear.
-
After receiving a warning message, if you wish to override the warning and accept the data, select Override Accept.
Note: If the data has been overridden and accepted, no deadband checks will be performed.
