Product Compatibility applications

The Product Compatibility definitions defined by the Product Compatibility application performs two functions:

• Blocks pending product transfers.

• Creates an alarm on in-progress transfers.

The Product Transfer Checking application checks on pending and in-progress transfer of product from one device or storage entity to another.

Checking is done on the following types of product transfers:

• Tank to tank

• Single tank to a tank group

• Pump and Pipeline Location association, where the pump is part of the pipeline at the location

• Drag Reducing Agent (DRA) injector into a Pipeline Location

• DRA injector into a Batch Transfer

• DRA injector into a tank

• Pipeline Location into a Batch Transfer

• Batch Transfer into a Pipeline Location

• Batch Transfer into a tank

• Tank to Batch Transfer

• Virtual Flow Computer (VFC) into tank

• VFC into Pipeline Location

• DRA injector into VFC

• Tank into VFC

• Pipeline Location into VFC

The following types of product transfers can be used to utilize the Product Injection Verification and Control functionality:

• Batch Transfer to Node

• VFC to Node
