Understand Batch Transfer Periodic Aggregation

If Periodic Aggregation is enabled on the Batch Transfer (batchXfer) record, Gross Standard Volume (GSV) and Indicated Volume (IV) accumulated across batch boundaries are sent to the Historical database. Hourly, daily, monthly, and yearly records are sent when an automatic reset occurs due to the period ending, or when a manual reset is triggered by the Controller. Total records are only sent on manual resets by the Controller. The data sent includes the following:

  • Date and time

  • batchXfer record name

  • Period

  • GSV

  • IV

  • Units of measurement for volume.
