There are number of alarms and events associated with the Virtual Flow Computer (VFC). The alarms and events recorded in the Alarm and Event Summary are defined by your Administrator. The Administrator can decide whether all alarms and events are displayed, including ones that are purely informational, or only the ones that indicate that there is a potential problem.
Note: The VFC itself does not experience alarm states. For this reason, you will never see an alarm indicator on the VFC Summary. However, the accumulator records, which are, in effect, children of the VFC, can experience alarms. These alarms are recorded in the Alarm Summary and are associated with the parent VFC.
