The Batches summary on the Pipeline Control window lists information about the batches that are between the nodes shown in the Start Node and End Node fields, in order from start to end (upstream to downstream). If a batch within this area is split by another batch, the split batch will be listed twice with data relevant to each split.
A color corresponding to the colors seen in the pipeline schematic appears by default in the column denoted by the asterisk (*).With the exception of the column denoted by the asterisk, all of the items in the Batches summary can be arranged according your preference.
The color coding allows you to easily identify a specific fragment within the pipeline schematic. For information on product color codes, see Display the selected Product Colors.

The following table details the items on the Batches summary.
|
Items |
Description |
Field or Origin of Value |
|---|---|---|
|
* |
The color used to represent the batch in the batch display is shown. |
The prod_color field of the prodtype record associated with the batch record provides an integer representing the color. The integer maps to a color. |
|
Batch ID |
Batch code or identifier. |
batch.id |
|
Density |
Density of the batch. |
batch.davg |
|
GSV |
Gross Standard Volume of the batch at that position in the batch sequence. |
A series of contiguous fragment records for the batch represent the batch at that position in the batch sequence. GSV = Σfragment.size for each fragment record in the batch at that sequence position. |
|
Mass |
Mass of the batch at the position in the batch sequence |
Mass = Mass reported by the source metering device. |
|
Line Post |
Location of the downstream head of the batch interface, as a mile or kilometer marker. |
The value is interpolated from the configured lineposts at each end of the segment. (pipe_segment.ups_linepost, pipe_segment.dns_linepost) |
|
Vol to Post |
Fluid volume in the pipeline between the start node and the downstream batch head. |
Σfragment.size for each fragment between the start node and the batch head. |
|
Vol to End |
Fluid volume in the pipeline between the downstream batch head and the end node. If the batch has been split and is also present further downstream, the further downstream batch head is used. |
eta.volume |
|
ETA |
Estimated time of arrival of the batch at the end node |
eta.time, formatted as a string. |
|
Correction Library |
Displays the correction library used to correct the volume of the product that corresponds to the associated batch. |
The Correction Library field information is supplied by the prodgroup that the batches' product type (prodtype) is associated with. |
|
Notes |
This field is used for the Controller’s notes. |
batch.comment |
|
Fragment Index |
Provides the number identifying the current fragment in the database. |
fragment.next_ups_frag fragment.next_dns_frag |
