Switch a Maintenance Ticket to a Normal Ticket

If a Maintenance Ticket was started by mistake, you can use the Maint. to Normal option on the Batch Transfer Control display. This command will switch the active batch from Maintenance to Normal while preserving measured volumes so that other applications can take these volumes into consideration.

When the Maint. to Normal command is used:

• The current active batch will be flagged as normal.

• The pending queue remains unchanged. That is, the system does not use batches in the pending queue for the purpose of switching the Maintenance Ticket to a Normal ticket.

• All other fields on the active batch remain the same.

  • This includes the Batch ID which will remain as Maintenance.

• An event related to the switch from a Maintenance Ticket to a Normal Ticket is generated.
