Define the output using the Advanced Logic Processor Configuration (ALPConfig) Row Edit: Output tab

The Output tab is used to configure the command sent to the status or multistate point based on the result of the expression evaluation.

To define the output

  1. Optional: In the Output Path field, enter (or click [...] to select) a path to either the status or multistate record to which the application sends the command.

Note: Any multistate record being used as an output point must be configured with both the Base Message Set and the Command Message set. The same message set can be used for both configurations.

The system validates the configured path.

  2. In the Yes Message State field, enter (or click [...] to select) the command to send if the ALP result transitions to a yes result.

  3. In the No Message State field, enter (or click [...] to select) the command to send if the ALP result transitions to no result.

The system validates the commands configured in the Yes Message State and No Message State fields against the configured message set on the Main tab of the ALPConfig Row Edit dialog. For more information, see Defining the Basic Properties of the Advanced Logic Processor (ALP) Record on the alRow Edit: Main Tab.
