One of the following states results at the end of processing the sequence. The Action Sequence will remain in the Termination state until a Controller action is taken. The state depends on the outcome of processing:
-
Complete — The Action Sequence finished executing all necessary steps successfully.
-
Mitigated — A failure occurred while trying to execute a step in the Action Sequence but a mitigation path was executed successfully.
-
Canceled — The sequence processing was ended because the Controller issued the Stop command while in one of the processing states (Executing, Pausing, or Paused).
-
Failed — A failure occurred while trying to execute a step in the Action Sequence and it was not mitigated.
-
Interrupted — A service interruption occurred (failover, mode switch, or RealTime shutdown) while a step was being processed (that is, in the Executing, Pausing, or Paused state).
From any termination state, a new processing run can be activated, either using the Start command (one-stage activation), or by using the Arm command to proceed to the Armed state (two-stage activation) in readiness for the Start command.
