The Pressure / Flow Monitoring (pressmon) record’s pressure information governs how the telemetry data for this pressure sample is used to check for deviations. The table below describes the pressure information appearing on the Pressure Monitor Control window.

Field |
Description |
|---|---|
Name |
The name of the pressure analog records. Up to three records may be used. |
Readings |
The pressure reading from the configured pressure point. |
Deviation |
Deadbands (+DB1, -DB1, +DB2, -DB2, +DB3, -DB3) |
The pressure sample is checked against the predicted pressure. If the former is not within the tolerances defined as deadband 1 (+DB1, -DB1), then the checking algorithm proceeds to check it against deadband 2 (+DB2, -DB2) on the next pass of the Pressmon application. If either DB1 or DB2 have been exceeded, and the 3rd pressure has been enabled, DB3 will also be checked. If this deadband check is also violated, AVEVA Enterprise SCADA issues a pressure deviation alarm and event. The positive deadband values (+DB1, +DB2, +DB3) are used for checking increases in pressure. The negative deadband values (-DB1, -DB2, -DB3) are used for checking decreases in pressure. |
Pressure Points |
Defines the analog point for which pressure / flow information is being collected. |
Pressure Alarm State |
This field shows the current pressure condition of the pressmon record. There are three possible states:
Pressure Active |
This field indicates whether the record is being processed. |
