The Tanking application allows you to monitor tanks, providing such information as level, Indicated Volume (IV) / Gross Standard Volume (GSV), flow rate, time to fill and empty, volume to fill, volume to pump, and alarm conditions.
The application provides several features:
-
A common data store for all tanks in the pipeline system.
-
Level to volume conversion.
-
Levels and volumes represented in a consistent format for all tanks regardless of field representation.
-
Station inventory.
The Tanking application uses the tank tables to record information about tanks.
