Name

The name of the sequence step.

State

The current state of the sequence step. The exact text is defined by the configured message set on the actionSequence record. The following default states are possible:

  • Idle — The step is ready to be executed. However, the step in the sequence has not been reached.

  • Executing — The step is currently executing.

  • Complete — The step has already been executed successfully.

  • Failed — Execution of the step was attempted, but failed.

  • Cancelled — The execution of the step was interrupted at your request.

  • Inhibited — The step is inhibited and will not be executed.

Type

The type of the step. Possible values are:

  • Set — The step sets the value of another record.

  • Function — The step performs a function on a record.

  • Wait — The step waits for a specified duration before being considered successful.

  • Decision — The step evaluates a logical expression configured by the Administrator to True or False and, depending on the result, navigates to different steps.

The command that will be issued. This field is only populated for steps that use the following types of points:

  • status

  • multistate

  • pump

  • valve

  • batchxfer

  • plm

  • plmvoldevice

Function

The function to be run for the point. The field is only available for steps that are of the Function type.

Value

The value that the step has set for the point. This field is only populated for steps that rely on information from analog points.

Timeout

The maximum duration that a step can take to reach its desired state before being declared a failure. If the point is a Wait-type point, this field indicates how long the step will wait before proceeding.

Point

The point that this step is executing on.
