In this second step, the following is required to assign reasonability.

To assign reasonability

  1. Take the absolute value of the flow rate that is reported from the rate point.

  2. Compare the flow rate to a configured maximum. This is the Max Reasonable Flow Rate field in the Advanced Database Editor (ADE).

  3. If the flow rate exceeds the maximum, the flow rate is unreasonable. If the flow rate does not exceed the maximum, the flow rate is reasonable. If the maximum is zero, the flow rate is always reasonable.
