The following table provides a description of the items on the Pressure Points tab in the pressmon Row Edit dialog.

Description

Pressure Points

Click (…) to access the analog Select dialog. Here, you will select the analog point for which you would like to track pressure information. After selecting the analog points, you will then define deadbands.

1st Pressure (+)

Enter a positive deadband value.

In cases where the actual pressure is greater than the estimated pressure, Pressmon uses this deadband when comparing the estimated and actual pressures.

1st Pressure (-)

Enter a negative deadband value.

In cases where the actual pressure is less than the estimated pressure, Pressmon uses this deadband when comparing the estimated and actual pressures.

2nd Pressure (+)

Enter a positive deadband value.

Pressmon uses this deadband when comparing the estimated and actual pressures. This deadband is used when the actual pressure crosses the first deadband (1st Pressure (+)) in the previous iteration and the actual pressure is greater than the estimated pressure.

2nd Pressure (-)

Enter a negative deadband value.

Pressmon uses this deadband when comparing the estimated and actual pressures. This deadband is used when the actual pressure crosses the first deadband (1st Pressure (-)) in the previous iteration and the actual pressure is less than the estimated pressure.

3rd Pressure (+)

Enter a positive deadband value.

The 3rd pressure is only available for edit when the Pressure Method on the Main tab is set to account for Individual Pressures. Pressmon uses this deadband when comparing the estimated and actual pressures. This deadband is used when the actual pressure has already crossed either or both of the first (1st Pressure (+)) and second deadbands (2nd Pressure (+)) and the actual pressure is greater than the third pressure deadband (3rd Pressure (+))

3rd Pressure (-)

Enter a negative deadband value.

The 3rd pressure is only available for edit when the Pressure Method on the Main tab is set to account for Individual Pressures. Pressmon uses this deadband when comparing the estimated and actual pressures. This deadband is used when the actual pressure has already crossed either or both of the first (1st Pressure (-)) and second deadbands (2nd Pressure (-)) and the actual pressure is less than the third pressure deadband (3rd Pressure (-)).
