The AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids installation includes a default pump message set that can be used on all pumps created within the RealTime database (RTDB). A project can also create custom pump message sets or alter this message set as they see fit. However, for full functionality, this message set must contain 13 records.

This state is used to indicate that a pump is in an unknown error state.

Run

This state is used to indicate that the pump is in a running state.

Stop

This state is used to indicate that a pump is in a stopped state.

Idle

This state is used to indicate that a pump is in an idle state.

Starting

This state is used to indicate that a pump is in a starting state.

Stopping

This state is used to indicate that a pump is in a stopping state.

Transit

This state indicates that a pump is in transition. When a pump is in transition, Line Blockage will use the last known good state of the pump.

Shutdown Alarms

This message set is not used for a pump state. It is used to generate alarms on the pump when a shutdown is triggered on it by the Line Blockage application.

Blocked Image

This message is not used for a pump state. It is used to specify the background image to be displayed when the pump enters a Blocked state as defined by Line Blockage. It is intended for use by Control Room Management (CRM) objects.

In Service Image

This message is not used for a pump state. It is used to specify the background image to be displayed when the pump is in an In Service state. If the pump is configured in Line Blockage, this state would also indicate that the pump is not blocked. It is intended for use by CRM objects.

Out of Logic Image

This message is not used for a pump state. It is used to specify the background image to be displayed when the pump Logic mode is configured to Out of Logic. It is intended for use by CRM objects.

Out of Service Run Image

This message is not used for a pump state. It is used to specify the background image to be displayed when the pump Logic mode is configured to Out of Service Run. It is intended for use by CRM objects.

Out of Service Stop Image

This message is not used for a pump state. It is used to specify the background image to be displayed when the pump Logic mode is configured to Out of Service Stop. It is intended for use by CRM objects.
