The Correction tab on the accumulator Row Edit dialog is used to replace temperature, pressure, and density information that is received from the rate point associated with a virtualflowcomputer record. This enables you to account for variance in the meter that may render the reported values inaccurate.
To configure the Correction tab on the accumulator record
-
From the virtualflowcomputer Row Edit dialog of your desired record, create an accumulator record. For more information on creating an accumulator record, see Create an Accumulator record.
The accumulator Row Edit dialog appears.

-
Select Correction tab.
The Correction tab appears.

Note: The Name and Virtual Flow Computer fields are read-only. These fields are populated when you create your accumulator record.
-
(Optional) In the Description field, enter a description.
-
To indicate that apply temperature correction should be applied, select the Apply Temperature Correction checkbox.
-
In the Temperature Analog field, select (...) to define an analog point as the source of temperature information.
-
To indicate that pressure correction should be be applied, select the Apply Pressure Correction checkbox.
-
In the Pressure Analog field, select (...) to define an analog point as the source of pressure information.
-
From the Density Source dropdown, select one of the following to define a source of density information:
-
From telemetry
-
From product table (corrected)
The product table information (inherited from the prodtype table) is assigned by the Controller when they create a ticket using the easy Extended Operator Station (ezXOS). Selecting From product table (corrected) as the Density Source merely defines where the density information will come from. The actual product type in use is assigned by the Controller when the ticket is created.
-
-
(Optional) When the Density Source is set to Read from analog point, in the Density Analog field, select (...) to define an analog point as the alternate source of density information.
-
To indicate whether or not the density value that is received by the system has already been corrected for temperature and pressure, select the Density Source Is Corrected checkbox.
Note: This only applies where density source is from an analog point. Schedule and prodtype table sources are already set for standard temperature and pressure conditions.
