Work with additional parameter calculations

The Device Batch Gross Standard Volume (GSV), as determined from GSV volume changes, will typically require no correction before it is used for inventory reports or custody transfer tickets. However, it could occur that an input parameter is later determined to be in error. If any parameters are corrected, the Device Batch GSV will need to be recalculated. Some further calculations concerning these parameters are done to enable a possible recalculation.
For a tank type of device, no further calculations are required.
For a rate type of device, no further calculations are possible since additional parameters are not provided.
For a meter type of input, the following additional calculation is done:
-
Temperature, Pressure, and Density.
-
Meter Correction Factor (MCF).
-
Correction for Temperature of Liquid (CTL) and Correction for Pressure of a Liquid (CPL).
For more information about the additional calculations for meter type, see Weighted average calculations for a Batch Transfer Source and Work with Meter Correction Factor (MCF).
