Configure the Level to Volume for Extended Strap

The Extended Tanking application communicates with a Business Logic Tier (BLT) host local to the RealTime Service that is configured to cache Tank Strapping tables and will return a list of all existing Strapping tables.
Once a single Strapping table is selected, the service retrieves detailed information for that table. The information that will be returned can be viewed, edited, or deleted in the Tank Strapping Table dialog.
Any changes that are made are sent back to the BLT host, which saves them to the database. The Tank Strapping Table dialog can also display Historical data for the current table, sorted by the date the modifications were made. These dates can then be loaded and you can view the tank strapping data from a previous point in time. This capability is useful for auditing purposes.
The Extended Tanking application supports Strapping tables of varied size, and this capability results in more accurate calculations of volume. The Tank Strapping Table dialog can also show a “visualization” of what the tank might look like from a 2D perspective, using the entered strapping data (level and volume). This visualization is used to locate potential errors in data entry.
Notes: If Use Extended Strap is selected, you no longer need to configure the Level to Volume tab as the necessary information populates as part of the CSV file import process.
