Configure the Main tab of the Drag Reducing Agent Injector Group (DRAInjectorGroup) record

The Main tab of the Drag Reducing Agent Injector Group (DRAInjectorGroup) record is used to define the basic details of the record.

To configure the Main tab of the DRAInjectorGroup record

  1. Open the DRAInjectorGroup record. For more information on opening a DRAInjectorGroup record, see Open the Drag Reducing Agent Injector Group (DRAInjectorGroup) record.

    The DRAInjectorGroup Row Edit dialog appears.

  2. In the Name field, enter a name for your DRAInjectorGroup record.

  3. Optional: In the Description field, enter a description for the DRAInjectorGroup record.

  4. In the Group field, click (...) to select the associated group that the record belongs to. Groups are used to associate individual telemetry points with areas of responsibility. A group record provides a logical grouping of remotes and attached end-devices.

  5. In the Dataset field, click (...) to select the name of the dataset you want to associate with this record. A dataset contains privileges assigned for each system and mode. Once a record is assigned to a data set value, the dataset can only be changed to a value for which the system has a privilege record. A record’s dataset cannot be changed in such a way that the system can no longer access the record.

  6. In the DRA Line field, click (...) to select the DRA Line for this record.

  7. Optional: In the Product Type Code Source field, click (...) to select the rtstring record that will provide the product type code for the purposes of setpoint lookup.

  8. Optional: In the External Reference Code field, enter the DRA Injector Group code that maps into this DRAInjectorGroup record when importing DRA datasets using the DRA import Application Program Interface (API). For more information on how to use the DRA import API, refer to the AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids Developer documentation.

  9. Optional: In the Display Order field, enter a value to customize the display order of the DRAInjectorGroup records.
