The Interface Detect Summary window lists all batch interface detection points within the pipeline.

To access the Interface Detect Summary Window

  • Click Interface Detect on the Batch Tracking Control menu.

The Interface Detect Summary window appears.

The following table details the items on the Interface Detect Summary window.

Items

Description

Val Type

Type of measurement.

  • Density/Gravity

  • Sonic Velocity

anatype

Inh

If yes, detect record is inhibited from processing.

Cur Batch

ID of batch currently flowing past detector.

curr_batch

Cur Batch Val

Property value, either from the current batch record (if density type) or from the product of the batch (if sonic velocity type).

curr_bat_val[0]

Cur Unit

Density units for the current batch:

  • none

  • degrees API

  • kg per m3

  • Relative Dens

  • lb per ft3

curr_dens_type

Next Batch

ID of next batch upstream of the current.

next_batch

Next Batch Val

Property value, either from the next batch record (if density type) or from the product of the next batch (if sonic velocity type).

next_bat_val[0]

Next Unit

Density units for the next batch:

  • none

  • degrees API

  • kg per m3

  • Relative Dens

  • lb per ft3

next_dens_type

Cut Type

Type of cut to apply to the end of the batch. That is, where to locate the interface in the transmix zone between the current and next batch. The cut type can be one of the following options:

  • Mid

  • Head

  • Tail

cut_type

Threshold

Property value that the batch cut is applied to.

thresh[0]
