Access the Point of Interest (POI) Summary window

The Point of Interest (POI) Summary window contains information on every point of interest record listed in the system. The summary provides basic AVEVA Enterprise SCADA functionality that is not specific to the AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids customer.
To access the Point of Interest (POI) Summary window

From the Navigation Menu, select LMS > Point of Interest.
The POI Summary window appears.
The following table describes the items listed on the POI Summary window.

Name |
The name of the POI. |

Description |
Description of the POI if available. Note: The description is inherited from the status or multistate point that underlies the object. |

Status |
The current state of the POI. Default states are the following:

Group |
The AVEVA Enterprise SCADA group that the POI object belongs to. Groups are stored in the RealTime database (RTDB) group table. |
|
Ignore |
The ignore flag is an indication to other applications that this POI object should not be used to trigger actions in response to state changes. |
