Configure Product Transfer Checking records

Product Transfer Checking (flowxfer) records are configured using the following tabs on the Flowxfer Row Edit and Row Details dialogs:

• Understand the Product Transfer Checking Record Source tab

• Understand the Product Transfer Checking Record Destination tab

• Understand the Product Transfer Checking Record DRA tab

• Understand the Product Transfer Checking Record Inhibits tab

Flowxfer records gather information from a number of AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids modules:

• Tanking

• Batch Transfer

• Virtual Flow Computer (VFC)

• Batch Tracking

The flow transfer activity is continuously monitored, as the product or products will change, especially if the source or destination is a meter or pipeline. Any transfers involving these source or destination types require monitoring, as the circumstances may change.

Products at the source and destination are periodically re-assessed for compatibility and the possibility of a rule violation.
