API Corrections are the methods specified by the American Petroleum Institute (API) to correct for the temperature and pressure effects on density and volume of liquid hydrocarbons. The API calculations used by AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids are primarily used by the following applications: Metering, Ticketing, Batch Tracking, and Tanking.
