Understand VFC Periodic Aggregation

If Periodic Aggregation is enabled on the VFC (virtualflowcomputer) record, Gross Standard Volume (GSV), Indicated Volume (IV), and mass are sent to the Historical database. Hourly, daily, monthly, and yearly records are sent when an automatic reset occurs due to the period ending, or when a manual reset is triggered by the Controller. Total records are only sent on manual resets by the Controller.
Note: The RealTime and Historical "mass" fields are only populated for products of type Ethylene. Therefore, aggregations for the mass field are expected to show zero for non-Ethylene products.
The VFC data sent includes the following:
-
Date and time
-
virtualflowcomputer record name
-
Period
-
GSV
-
IV
-
Units of measurement for volume
-
Mass
-
Units of measurement for mass
For more information on the Historical table, see vfcPeriodicAggregation table details.
The Accumulator data sent includes the following:
-
Date and time
-
accumulator record name
-
virtualflowcomputer record name
-
Period
-
GSV
-
IV
-
Units of measurement for volume
-
Mass
-
Units of measurement for mass
