Work with Batch Transfer (BatchXfer) records

You can assign up to four batchXfer records to the Drag Reducing Agent (DRA) Injector using the Upstream Zone tab. For more information, see Configuring the Upstream Zone Tab on the Drag Reducing Agent Injector (DRAInjector) Record.

These batchXfer records represent batch transfer points upstream of the DRA injector. They provide information on the product currently being transferred and product that is pending.

The Volume Zone area defines the volume pending at the Batch Transfer location that should be checked for an invalid product:

  • Upstream Zone. The total volume upstream of the DRA injector to be checked.

  • Exclusion Zone. A subset at the front (downstream end) of the upstream zone to be excluded from checking. This is normally the volume between the DRA injector and the flow meter providing the flow information for Batch Transfer.
