AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids

Re-enable automatic Product Injection Verification and Control

Re-enable automatic Product Injection Verification and Control

By default, automatic Product Injection Verification and Control is enabled. However, the automatic logic gets disabled in the following scenarios:

  1. At system startup (also known as a cold start), automatic Product Injection Verification and Control is disabled for all nodes in the system. This is done by setting the GlobalPermissiveEnabled flag associated with the Product Transfer Checking(flowXfer) records to false.

  2. When a pipeline is deactivated in order to make changes to batch lineups such as loading a new Batch Tracking (BT) file, the automatic logic is disabled on the deactivated pipeline.

Automatic logic is not re-enabled automatically after any of the scenarios above occur. In order to re-enable automatic product injection verification and control, the Controller can use the Batch Tracking Control menu as described in the AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids Controller Guide documentation.
