The Drag Reducing Agent (DRA) Injector Summary window shows all configured DRAInjector records, provides a quick overview for you to determine what violation checking is being done for a particular injector, and enables you to see whether detecting a violation will result in a shutdown. Basic filtering functionality is available as well.

The following table details the items on the DRA Injector Summary dialog.
Item |
Description |
|---|---|
Name |
The name of the DRAInjector record. |
Description |
A description of the record. |
Group |
The group that the record is associated with. |
DRA Fluid Type |
This is the informational designation of the type of DRA fluid that is being used in this injector. |
Rate Management Method |
Displays whether the rate is not managed (None), Calculated, or determined by Set Point Lookup. |
Total Flow Rate |
If the Rate Management Method is configured as Calculated, the Total Flow Rate displays the result of aggregating the configured sources of flow rates. The Total Flow Rate is then compared against the configured Minimum Flow Rate to determine if a violation exists. Note: If the Rate Management Method is configured as either None or Set Point Lookup—the Total Flow Rate displays N/A instead of a rate. |
Upstream Zone Checking |
Indicates whether products upstream of the DRA Injector will be checked for compatibility violation(s). |
Density Checking |
Indicates whether a densitometer is in use to check if the density of the product flowing past the injector is similar to any known DRA-incompatible products. |
Additional Validation |
Whether additional validation is being used. This usually means a third-party violation checker is in use, and it is sending its results to a status or multistate point that the application monitors. |
Automatic Shutdown |
If this is set to Yes, then the injector will be automatically shut down for any of the violation types mentioned above (if checking for them is enabled). Whatever the setting of this field, an alarm is ALWAYS generated if a violation is detected. |
State |
