AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids

Assess the data quality for the PLM region

Data quality is assessed based on quality of the readings coming from the input devices. Quality is assessed for each balance period and for the Pipeline Monitor (PLM) record as a whole.

Note: The quality for the PLM region is independent of the quality of the balance periods. Region quality depends only on the current processing minute whereas balance period quality is an aggregate of many minutes. Also, the criteria for bad quality differ for balance periods and plm records. For the balance period, a minute interval appears as bad if a device is stale. For the region, a stale device typically does not make the interval bad provided that the device is also in manual mode.
