Work with the Meter Factor (Mtrfact) table

A Meter Correction Factor (MCF) is a compensation factor which accounts for non-ideal mechanical effects such as bearing friction, fluid drag, and mechanical or electrical readout drag. The Metering application selects the MCF for each meter from the mtrfact table using the meter name and the Product Group of the product flowing through the meter.

Once it has obtained the mtrfact record, AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids finds the MCF for the current flowing conditions.
