Understand High-Low state limits

The limits that, when exceeded, determine the High-Low state assigned to the tank are configured on the Alarming tab. These limits include both the Administrator-defined and the Controller-defined High-Low state. Each limit has an enabling field provided on the Alarming tab. A configured deadband, which is applied to all limits, is configured on the Alarming tab. For more information, see Updating the High-Low State of the Tank.
Note: Neither the Administrator-defined nor the Controller-defined High-Low states have any enforced relationship to the Maximum Safe and Minimum Safe limits. For example, the Normal Empty level could, in theory, exceed the Maximum Safe limit. It is recommended that all High-Low levels are within the Maximum Safe and Minimum Safe limits.
