The Source tab allows you to define one of the sources for Product Transfer Checking (Flowxfer). The information defined on the Source tab is compared against the information on the Destination tab to ensure that when the source material is received at the destination, there are no conflicts.

The following table lists the fields on the Source tab in the Product Transfer Checking (flowxfer) Row Edit dialog.

Item |
Description |
|---|---|
Source Type |
The Source Type will determine which fields are allowed and how the product transfer record will behave. Options are as follows:
Source Reference |
Path to a RealTime database (RTDB) point that represents the source device. Select (...) to open the Path Selector dialog. Select a table and record. Unless the table and record have been selected properly, the Accept button will be disabled. |
Milepost |
Milepost value is used for pipeline location and pump source types. It is used to determine the products used for the comparison. |
Upstream Zone |
Volume upstream of the milepost or meter to gather product information. It is used to determine the products used for the comparison. This is available only when Batch Transfer or Pipeline Location is defined as the source. |
Downstream Zone |
Volume downstream of the milepost to gather product information. It is used to determine the products used for the comparison. |
Exclusion Zone |
Initial volume of the batch lineup on a batch transfer which is excluded from the Product Compatibility checks. This option is only available if Batch Transfer is selected as the Source Type. |
Pump Pipe Segment |
Pipe segment used to determine the last product for a pump type source. |
Volume Threshold |
Tolerance volume for batch size difference checking. |
Do Volume Threshold Check |
If Yes is selected from the dropdown menu, a volume threshold check is performed. |
Pump Running States |
A string of values to represent which pump states are running. An example of an acceptable string would be "0, 1, 3", which would mean that base message states 0, 1 and 3 are running states. For more information about where to obtain those values, see Understand how to define states for Product Transfer Checking records. |
Pump Stopped States |
A string of values to represent which pump states are stopped. An example of an acceptable string would be"2, 4, 5", which would mean that base message states 2, 4 and 5 are stopped. For more information about where to obtain those values, see Understand how to define states for Product Transfer Checking records. |
