The billing date information is provided to the Pump Statistics module in an effort to declare cut-off points at which information is entered in to the Historical database. When the billing time and date is reached, the statistics from each unit in the pumpstation are sent to the Historical database. At this point, the statistical collection completes for the current billing period and begins for the next billing period.

To configure Pumpstation record billing periods
-
Using the text boxes under the Date and Time column of the Billing Date Information tab of the pumpstation Row Edit dialog, enter 12 dates and times (with milliseconds) in the format of your locale.
Note: Each billing date defines the end of a billing period. The current billing period is indicated by the index presented in the Current Billing Date Selected Date (Index) field shown on the Billing Date Information tab of the pumpstation Row Edit dialog. This index is not configurable but initializes to row 0 and is reset by Pump Statistics processing.
One method of using the billing cycles is to always have the Controller explicitly enter in all dates for the cycle. In this case:
-
All 12 text boxes need to have entries.
-
Entries are sequential, with the earliest date and time at the top and latest date and time at the bottom with one exception.
Note: Billing dates must operate in a continuous loop. When the last billing date is reached at row 11, the billing period goes to the one defined at row 0.
-
When billing period returns to the top row, it is expected that the expired date-times will have been updated by the Administrator to future date-times.
-
When first initialized, the current index is at row 0. This will be the first billing date used.
Another method allows the billing cycle to progress automatically. When the current billing cycle date/time is reached and the date for the next billing cycle is less than that of the current billing cycle, the next billing cycle will be calculated to one or more months after the current one (to bring it into the future), and the current index will be updated. In this case, a message will output to the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Error Log to indicate that the next billing cycle was automatically calculated. The two methods may be mixed; the Controller could occasionally override the value in one of the entries, while allowing the automatic updating to occur at the normal sequence.
