Access the Valve Summary window

The Valve Summary window contains information on every valve record listed in the system. The Valve Summary window provides access to the Control dialogs for each individual valve. From these dialogs, it is possible to change the state of the valve. The Valve Summary also provides basic AVEVA Enterprise SCADA functionality that is not specific to the AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids. To access the Valve Summary window

From the Navigation Menu of the ezXOS, select LMS > Valves.
The Valve Summary windows appears.
The following table describes the items on the Valve Summary window.

Description |

Name |
Name of the valve record. |

Description |
Optional: Description of the valve. |
|
Status |
This field indicates the current extended state of a valve (for example, Open, Closed, Transit, Opening). |

Group |
Group to which the valve belongs. |
|
Valve Type |
This is the configured valve type. This value will be either Physical, Synthetic, or Logical and is configured by an Administrator. For additional information, refer to the AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids Administrator documentation. |

Parent Valve |
This is the parent valve to which this valve record belongs. For additional information, refer to the AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids Administrator documentation. |
