An alarm is issued if any of the following conditions occur:

  • Insufficient gauged pressure

This situation can be observed on the pressure profiles as Adjusted Pressure nearing or dropping below Elevation Pressure, and Hydraulic Head nearing or dropping below Elevation.

A limit is configured that Gauged Pressure cannot drop below. If this occurs, an alarm is issued stating "Pressure is <Gauged Pressure value> from ground elevation."

Gauged Pressure cannot drop below zero. If this occurs, the system issues the following alarm:

    Pressure is below ground elevation

  • Excessive gauged pressure

This situation can be observed on the pressure profiles as Adjusted Pressure nearing or exceeding Adjusted Maximum Operating Pressure (MOP), and Hydraulic Head nearing or exceeding Maximum Operating Head.

A limit is configured that Gauged Pressure cannot come within maximum allowed casing pressure. If this occurs, the system issues the following alarm:

Pressure is <Gauged Pressure value> from maximum allowable pressure

Gauged Pressure cannot exceed maximum allowed casing pressure. If this occurs, the system issues the following alarm:

Pressure is above maximum allowable pressure."
