Process Controller commands for the DRA Injector application

The Controller can issue Shutdown and Startup commands. These commands are not issued using the DRAInjector record control in the easy eXtended Operation Station (ezXOS) but are instead done by navigating to the ezXOS control for the assigned status, multistate, or pump record and issuing on that control.

The Shutdown command is accepted without the Drag Reducing Agent (DRA) Injector application validation; however, the Startup command requires this validation.

When the Startup command is issued, the DRAInjectorStartVerify rule is executed using the Rules Validation Engine (RVE). For more information, see Configure the Drag Reducing Agent Injector (DRAInjector) record. If a violation condition results, the Startup command is blocked. The Controller can choose to override the command block when it occurs and allow the command to proceed.
