You must define the pathway to the record where tank idling or external flow information is stored so that the system can successfully gather the information necessary to report on the tank's idle or external flow state.

To define the Path information

  1. Click (...) for the associated Path to access the Input Point Path Selector.

The Input Point Path Selector will appear.

  2. From the Table dropdown list, select the table to which your desired record belongs. Valid options are the following:

    • analog

    • batchXfer

    • multistate

    • rate

    • status

    • virtualflowcomputer

  3. From the Record field, click (...) to select the record from which the information should be gathered.

The Select dialog for the associated table will appear with a list of all the records in the table.

  4. From the Field dropdown list, select the field that will supply the tank idle or external flow information. Even though there are a number of options to choose from, each Table and Record has a correct Field that must be entered. They are as follows:

    • analog — curval

    • batchXfer — GSflow

    • multistate — flag.msgtxt

    • rate — currate

    • status — flag.msgtxt

    • virtualflowcomputer — flowrate

  5. Select Accept.
