Identify the tank level or volume source

All tank records will need a data input from the actual tank from the remote site. The data reading is either as a level (height of the fluid surface) or volume. If this data is provided by an analog or rtstring record, the record in question will need to be configured (the Source Type field is set to OASyS RealTime Source).

If the polling engine is writing the level or volume directly to the tank record, this is configured when the tank record is set up using Advanced Database Editor (ADE) (the Source Type field is set to Direct Field Source).
