The Advanced Logic Processor (ALP) Config Detail Control displays all the inputs used to evaluate its logical expression in the input grid. The input grid displays the following information for each of the fields.

Item

Description

Data Quality

An icon representing the Data Quality of the input.

If the input was configured using a primary input path and a constant value (such as rate.Rate01.currate < 400), the Data Quality of the input will be set to the Data Quality of the primary input path.

If the input was configured using a primary input path and a secondary input path (such as tank.Tank01.flevel < tank.Tank02.flevel), the Data Quality of the input will be set to the worst Data Quality of the primary input path and the secondary input path.

Note: If the Data Quality is not available for a particular input path, the system will use Fresh as the Data Quality for that input path.

Row

The index value of the input used in the logical Expression.

Definition

The comparison expression composed of the left operand, operator, and right operand.

Deadband

The time interval (in seconds) used to manage fluctuations around a numerical comparison value after the comparison evaluates to a Yes Result.

When the comparison evaluates to Yes, the system will maintain the Yes result even if the value goes into the No range as long as the value stays within the configured deadband.

For example:

  • When the comparison X < Y evaluates to Yes, it remains as Yes as long as X < (Y + deadband).

  • When the comparison A > B evaluates to Yes, it remains as Yes as long as A > (B - deadband).

For a detailed description of how Deadband is used to evaluate the Result, see Understand how Deadband is used when evaluating the result in ALP.

Left Operand Value

The RealTime value returned by the left operand in the Definition.

Operator

The logical function used to compare the Left Operand Value with the Right Operand Value.

Right Operand Value

The RealTime value or constant value returned by the right operand in the Definition.

Result

The result of the comparison. The Left Operand Value is compared to the Right Operand Value using the comparison Operator. The result is then used in the evaluation of the ALP logical Expression.

Input Value Time

The date and time the input values were last updated.

Note: The Input Value Time is either the most recent time of the two input paths or the primary input path if the secondary input path is compared to a constant.
