The Advanced Logic Processor (ALP) application enables the Administrator to perform state aggregation, wherein the states of several different inputs are combined into a single, calculated state value. The Administrator can then use this state value as a permissive for either operational decisions or a trigger to initiate a subsequent process.

The Reflex Monitor application is designed to monitor a field on a configured point. If that field changes to the reflex record's pre-defined Required Trigger State, it is an indication that it is time to execute a series of actions, which have been defined in the Action Sequence record. The Action Sequences can be responsible for automating activities such as pipeline shutdowns, pump starts, or other essential activities.

The Countdown application is a data package that tracks progress toward a Controller-defined volume target for a rate point.

Flow Network Routes represent a connection between two terminals with a Flow Network, and can be used by other higher-level applications such as third party leak detection, or simply to allow you to quickly view the status of a Flow Network.

Protected Locations refer to Flow Networks (stations) that have their own set of unique rules to prevent them from entering an unsafe operating condition. Each Protected Location is associated with a single Flow Network.
